1. How should I start?

    Sign up with Two Week Unlimited Pass in a Beginner’s Mysore class. If that particular hour doesn’t work for your schedule, email info@ashtanganation.com to arrange a different time. You aren’t expected to know anything when you arrive. You will learn everything step by step.

  2. How long should I expect to be there?

    Plan on being there for an hour for the first little while.

  3. What should I bring?

    Bring a yoga mat, a towel that covers the mat, a hand towel and water. We also have mats to borrow should you forget one :)

  4. How often should I come?

    If possible, a minimum of three times a week and a maximum of six. The more you do, the more your mind and body will respond. You will gauge what works best for YOUR body. Yoga shouldn’t add more stress to your life. Since you will learn to be an independent practitioner, you may find that mixing a home practice with practice at the studio works best for your schedule.
